Exhaust - Honda 750 ace

  • Since september last year proud owner of my first bike, a 2003 shadow vt750 ace with 9000km. Been wanting to customize and thats how i found this channel. I would've bought the max performance kit but i am unsure with the DB output because im bounded to EU regulations (netherlands). Do any of you guys have the same bike with the slasher exhaust and can tell me how mucb db it produces. or any other exhaust set recommendations, i'm not building a bobber so the slasher style exhaust doesn't really fit anyway (preferably; wont make me broke type of exhaust)

  • Heya,

    Welcome to the forums and to the shadow life.
    As a fellow dutchy I would say, make sure to check out ShadowMC, great club, fun people, even more fun events and rideouts! That aside:

    In the Netherlands the max DB output is usually on the bike on a sticker.
    I can guarantee you that the TJBC exhaust are not going to comply with any EU regulatory standards haha.
    As far as I am aware they are straight pipes front to back, no mufflers no dampers, nothing.
    So if it's legality you're worried about I fear these ain't it.

    From what I know, it's pretty popular over here (Netherlands) to just drill a few holes in the final baffle (at least on the 1100's) which makes them louder but not to any illegal levels.

  • @finnjoosten We dont make anything called slasher exhaust, but if you may be referring to our slash cut style backdraft exhaust. For the VT750 Backdraft exhaust, if you get a straight cut version you can install bolt in baffles which will drop the sound way down.

  • @TJ

    Yo TJ, thanks for the information already shared. Appreciate ya, Honda godfather. I've been eyeballing these backdraft stainless steel exhaust as well with the slashcut, which looks absolutely sick... well done on that part.

    In description of the Backdraft stainless steel exhaust it says;

    • NEW Internally Integrated Baffling

    Are they still fucking loud with the internally integraded baffling? And I've been wondering for weeks now how they are going to age. I asked the chatbot from your site and it said gold patina. If I look that up I see all gold painted up exhausts.

    The exhaust set I've got on my bike now is also obnoxiously loud and am also a fellow Dutchy. Hi to the other guys.

    Cheers,

    CableGuy
